Connect Realty: The Big Idea

Donnie Deutsch, the host of the popular CNBC program “The Big Idea” explains that the big idea is “doing what you love and making millions.”  As chairman for Deutsch Inc, a marketing firm he inherited from his father, he exploded his fathers modest company by being “leaner, meaner, faster, smarter.”  Isn’t that similar to Connect Realty’s tag phrase “Surprising. Simple.  Smart. Striving”?

In today’s real estate rant I’m suggesting that Connect Realty is the “Big Idea.”  The mind bending possibilities to build real estate teams, all earning money for you makes it hard to sleep at night.  What’s amazing is that it’s the ONLY one of if it’s kind.  THe virtual office, focus on Internet, Personal development, marketing, and team unity hasn’t ever been seen in the history of the world until now.  That’s what I call a big idea.

Connect Realty and Zeno’s Arrow

A paradox is a contradictory statement that is nonetheless true.  Zeno, a Greek logician, took paradoxical thinking to a whole new level.  Don’t worry, as always I’ll “connect” the dots to Connect Realty – albeit sometimes a stretch.  Zeno’s arguments is that: motion is impossible.  His illustration is that  of an arrow shot from a bow in flight is either “where it is or where it is not.”  Consequently, the arrows position at any given moment is standing still.  So, if the arrow moves where it’s not, then it can’t be there.  Confused yet?

Zeno illustrated the conundrum about the “permanence of change.”  My question for you is:  are you with a real estate company that’s “where it is” or “where it’s not”?  In my opinion, Connect Realty is “where it is”

Connect Realty and Tragic Irony

Dramatic Irony, also called “tragic irony” dates back to Greek drama and the time of Socrates.  The essense of tragic irony is that the audience knows something  that the characters acting onstage do not.  As a result, the audience sees the tragic doom that is soon to face the characters.

In the play of the real estate office, with their desk fees and such, the branch office is in a state of tragic irony.  The Internet and home office has afforeded the real estate agent the freedom to work when and where he/she wants.  The brick and mortar real estate branch office is as relevant as a street corner travel agency.

Isn’t it time you escape the irony?  Connect Realty may be your last hope.
